Colorado Nonprofit Provides Free Resources for the disabled community

Based in Denver, Colorado, Project Independence provides all-day workshops for young people with disabilities aged 14-21 to help them gain valuable life skills for adulthood.

Alongside her poetic endeavors, Amy writes extensively about disability rights, civil rights, and human rights. Her work has been presented at numerous conferences both in the US and internationally, and is featured in various books on being Autistic and Disabled. A dedicated advocate within the Neurodiversity Movement, Amy passionately speaks out for the rights and worth of disabled individuals.
