In this episode of StayLooped, host Chris interviews Ellen Sutton from WeShowAndTell.org about their amazing program called Project Independence. Based in Denver, Colorado, Project Independence provides all-day workshops for young people with disabilities aged 14-21 to help them gain valuable life skills for adulthood.
Participants learn about independent living, money management, job interviewing, and self-advocacy. The program aims to get them thinking about and planning for life after high school.
